His interest in music began in 2005, when he began learning to play the piano. Mohammed then delved into music producing in 2012, after years of progressing. His passion for electronic dance music has also led him to experiment with other musical genres such as hiphop/rap, rock/metal, and others. After a while, Mohammed shifted his focus to orchestral arrangements and film music, with the purpose of better representing his country's future and expressing his pride for Qatar.

Mohammed was largely self-taught with piano and music production. He enrolled in Katara Music Academy in 2014 to further develop his piano skills. Later in 2016, Mohammed began taking piano lessons with Vincent Corver, a Steinway Artist and Award-Winning Pianist. Mohammed continues to take lessons with him to this day, aiming to improve his musical abilities to achieve his ambitions.

Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, with his colleague Jannah Collado, won the Best Narrative Fiction category at Northwestern University Qatar’s 2021 Research & Media Awards on March 30th for their film "Of Things That Shouldn't Be." It was one of their very first major accolades.

Mohammed Al-Khulaifi professionally began working with filmmakers and artists on 2019. He produced his first film score for Dalal Garai’s Saudade (2019) and has since worked on a number of films. He produced the film scores and soundtracks for Ibn El Ballad (2021) and Bayt El Omor (2021) with director and writer Tony El-Ghazal. Additionally, there was Kasih Sayang untuk Layla (2021), a film directed by Nur Munawaarah, and Sahar Bou Hamden’s Pain from a Distance (2021) for which Mohammed composed both scores.
